WHO YOU ARE:
The International Visual Merchandising & Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of Ardene’s international visual and marketing strategies across licensed markets. This role supports the continued growth of Ardene International by executing and driving key international visual and marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive brand storytelling, strong visual execution, and commercially driven marketing initiatives that are adapted to local market needs while respecting Ardene’s global brand DNA.
International Growth & Brand Strategy
- Contribute to the development and execution of international marketing strategies that strengthen Ardene’s global brand presence.
- Develop a strong understanding of each market’s customer profile, cultural nuances, and shopping behaviors to shape relevant seasonal marketing plans.
- Monitor competitive landscapes across markets to define appropriate brand positioning.
- Coordinate and execute localized initiatives for key moments such as Ramadan, local holidays, and market-specific events.
Business Performance & Commercial Impact
- Coordinate seasonal visual and marketing initiatives to drive traffic, conversion, and sales.
- Participate in weekly internal international sales meetings to review market and category performance and proactively recommend visual and marketing initiatives to support traffic, conversion, and sales growth.
- Collaborate with International Buying and Licensing teams to identify and highlight key categories, trends, and products that drive commercial performance.
- Execute promotional strategies aligned with inventory availability and commercial objectives.
Operational Excellence & Execution
- Build, maintain, and update the international marketing and promotional calendar.
- Ensure all international marketing assets, signage, and visuals are delivered accurately and on time.
- Coordinate visual and marketing execution for all international store openings, including assets, fixtures, and props.
- Lead post-campaign reviews and post-mortem reporting by compiling, documenting, and sharing performance insights and key learnings.
Visual Merchandising & Creative Alignment
- Work closely with the corporate Visual team to adapt Visual Directives (windows, floor plans, wall setups) for international markets.
- Lead regular international Visual & Marketing calls with licensee Visual Merchandisers and Marketing Managers to align on execution, priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
- Conduct monthly virtual store walkthroughs as part of these calls to assess execution, provide actionable feedback, and reinforce brand and visual standards across international locations.
- Create store floor plans and capacity plans for new locations.
- Lead onboarding support and ongoing follow-ups with new licensee partners to ensure continued alignment with Ardene’s visual and brand direction.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Alignment
- Build strong working relationships with international license partners.
- Share international market insights internally to support continuous improvement and future strategies.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, or marketing coordination.
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners; international or licensing experience is an asset.
Key Skills
- Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace (Intermediate): Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Proficiency with InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Canva and Photoshop.

- Highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills, able to manage multiple markets, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while remaining agile and adaptable as priorities evolve.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures; international experience is an asset.
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for brand consistency across copy, visuals, and timelines.
- Accountable and dependable, demonstrating ownership and follow-through on all deliverables.
