Description:
WHO YOU ARE:
This is a temporary Junior Accountant position for an 18-month replacement, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Enter DrawCheques, wires, EFTs, prepayments;
- Clear cheques for daily cash flow;
- Credit card maintenance;
- HO cheque deposits;
- PAP bank reconciliation with Hydro Invoicing;
- Fixed Asset schedule;
- Line of credit reconciliation;
- Support in preparing month end binder with financial information;
- Additional TPP entry (month end);
- Calculate and record all month end accruals;
- Warehouse sale invoicing and P&L;
- Moneris, E-commerce and transit bank journal entry;
- Various other reports as required;
- Other projects as requested (e.g.: Circular material reporting, duties).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 2-4 years in a similar role;
- Bilingual (English/French);
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Knowledge of SAGE software (asset);
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail;
- Efficient time management in order to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
- Interest in learning;
- Ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
