You're a communications pro with a creative edge and sharp attention to detail. Not only are you an excellent writer, but you can also express information visually; you understand how to manipulate multimedia tools & technology to share ideas. When it comes to building relationships, you're a thoughtful and action-oriented person who can anticipate the needs of their teammates and deliver outstanding results. 

Reporting to the Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, and working closely with the Marketing team, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting Ardene's creative communications activities across the company. They are primarily responsible for marketing communications, while also focusing on cross-departmental assignments such as presentation decks and multimedia projects. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Creative Copywriting

  • Write creative copy for various channels (E-commerce newsletters, marketing collateral, presentation decks, etc.) in keeping with Ardene's brand and tone of voice. 
  • Format documents and edit copy with a critical eye, for cross-departmental projects as required.
  • Keep Ardene's language & terms database up to date.

Multimedia Creation & Coordination

  • Create PowerPoint decks, presentations, and communications material as required.
  • Support the production of video Town Halls and virtual company events.
  • Coordinate and support the production of internal videos/audio with the communications team. 

Cross-Functional Partnerships

  • Deliver communications assets to departments across the company.
  • Develop strong relationships with departments such as Marketing, Ecommerce, HR, Operations, Brand, Photo Studio, and others. 
  • Build & maintain a keen understanding of each department's needs and their contribution to Ardene's success.


  • Ability to communicate in English and French.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a similar role.
  • Impeccable English writing (beyond fluency, must be a skilled writer who can produce content for various channels).
  • University degree in communications studies, media, journalism, marketing, or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge of multimedia production is a must (A/V, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills, with a capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and collaboration skills.
