Description:

WHO YOU ARE:

As Marketing Project Coordinator - Packaging working in the marketing department, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receiving, managing and developing all new or evolving packaging requests from apparel accessories and footwear departments;
  • Coordinating packaging projects from prototype to production samples while managing priority lists;
  • Overseeing all communications with international and local suppliers to ensure timely deliveries for each project;
  • Maintaining the packaging development project list and coordinating timely deliveries of samples and completed projects;
  • Handle graphic design tasks, including packaging adaptations and other assigned projects;
  • Maintaining a database of all packaging samples;
  • Preparing instruction sheets for vendors/buying team for packaging guidelines;
  • Analyzing costs;
  • Keeping sustainability top of mind in all packaging projects;
  • Working with the internal teams to support packaging initiatives and develop new ideas;
  • Researching packaging trends, dielines, visual presentation, content, etc.;
  • Brainstorming taglines and content for packaging;
  • Assisting the department on special projects, including communicating with vendors;
  • Research and development;
  • Assisting with various other marketing tasks as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Certificate or undergraduate diploma in marketing
  • 2-3 years’ experience in graphic design, retail marketing environment a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of printing techniques, materials, and industry trends.
  • Knowledge in Adobe suite (Graphic design knowledge), experience with dielines and preparing print production files, an asset.
  • Experience using Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task while being meticulous, thorough and detailed.
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish, meet strict deadlines and manage time efficiently.
  • Bilingual (English and French) both written and spoken, Mandarin, an asset.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in office.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced demanding environment.
