Description:
WHO YOU ARE:
Reporting to the Director of Visual Merchandising, the Visual Team Lead will be leading the Visual Specialist/Coordinator in the elaboration for all in-store presentations. This role will be key in analyzing reception and shipping of weekly merchandise in which will cascade in different areas of the business, in giving instructions to stores for their execution in weekly/monthly launch packages, in creating appealing windows/store front impacts to attract customers from the lease line, in keeping up with the latest trends/social media to ensure they are related in all visual presentations, in ensuring the proper signage/format is distributed to the right stores, and bringing the current presentations to another level by constantly testing new ideas and evolving the brand. This is a one year temporary mat leave replacement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Execute and oversee all visual presentations/campaigns (walls, floor fixtures, tables, windows & mannequins); including the US & International markets.
- Analyze each store type to ensure appropriate allocation and realistic presentations in launch packages.
- Be on top of trends to showcase and implement them in presentations.
- Test creative presentations for new initiatives/strategies (clothing, footwear & accessories).
- Incorporate online strategies into in-store presentations.
- Oversee signage campaign distribution lists for all stores.
- Keep marketing calendar updated with delivery/launch dates.
- Implement specific processes related to signage/mannequin outfits in collaboration with the styling team.
- Analyze sales performance from monthly layouts/new initiatives to be able to react quickly.
- Conduct market-trend research and monthly store visits.
- Mentor the intern selected through the yearly internship program.
- Participate in the in-store execution of monthly launch packages (when needed).
- Participate in store openings to support new strategies (when needed).
- Take part in any related special projects.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field
- Three (3) years of experience in retail (not necessarily in visual), or equivalent
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, Excel (Photoshop & InDesign would be beneficial)
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism required (English and French); ability to communicate in both languages. We are a Quebec-based company, but our operations are international.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to multi-task
- Positive, upbeat energy with the ability to create a fun working environment is a must.
