WHO YOU ARE:
We are looking for an outgoing, highly motivated and dedicated Learning & Development Advisor to join our HR team. This individual will play a key role in driving the execution of strategic HR initiatives across Stores and Headquarters (including the Distribution Center). With a strong focus on Learning & Development this role will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of impactful programs that enhance the employee experience and foster a high-performing, values-driven culture.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage, maintain and optimize the Learning Management System (upload and organize content, advise teams on new lesson implementation, suggest improvements, coordinate user access, manage completion rates, troubleshoot errors, respond to employee questions/inquiries, etc);
- Measure training effectiveness and impact by analyzing post-training assessments, completion rates, feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement;
- Design, develop and enhance training programs and e-learning modules;
- Research emerging AI training technologies and recommend solutions to accelerate the creation of dynamic content that will promote greater learning retention;
- Develop training content related to the HRIS and drive successful change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new and updated functionalities;
- Optimize the management onboarding training program for the stores group;
- Develop an employee training journey to support career planning for the headquarters group;
- Manage compliance with the Bill-90 training law for headquarters;
- Support the semi-annual Leadership Development Forums, including assessing knowledge gaps, researching learning opportunities and developing training material as needed;
- Enhance the offering of educational resources aligned with the company’s social responsibility commitments by developing trainings related to sustainability and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging;
- Lead and support various projects related to the employee experience across all business units;
- Other tasks or projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- University degree in Human Resource or a pertinent field completed;
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience;
- Fluently bilingual in English and French (spoken & written);
- Excellent customer support, organization skills, adaptability, diplomacy and attention to detail;
- Ability to research and develop content on different topics;
- Strong project and time management skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to work in-office 5 days per week;
- Retail experience is an asset.
