WHO YOU ARE:
As an IT Business & Project Intern, you’re a motivated and curious individual interested in building a career in Business Analysis and/or Project Management. You enjoy understanding how businesses operate, how systems support those processes, and how to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
You ask thoughtful questions, enjoy documenting and structuring information, and are excited to gain hands-on experience working on real projects. You thrive in collaborative environments and are interested in contributing to projects from requirements gathering through to delivery
As an IT Business & Project Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Business Analysis
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements and user needs.
- Support creation of tasks, process flows and documentations.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support user training.
- Help track, document, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
Project Management
- Help track tasks, timelines and project deliverables.
- Preparing meetingminutes, action items and status updates.
- Paritipcate in weekly project review meetings.
- Support communication between technical teams and business users.
Scope of the Role
This role focuses on business analysis and project coordination and does not include full-stack development, data analysis, or code review activities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Recently graduated or in a field related to Business, IT, or Computer Science.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and learning new systems.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Organized and able to manage time and tasks across multiple priorities.
- Willing to learn about IT systems, business operations, and project coordination.
- Bilingual (French and English – spoken and written) is a plus.
