Description:

WHO YOU ARE:

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accountant supports the accounting team by assisting in the monthly general accounting tasks of two companies. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare Daily Cash Flow
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Prepare Monthly US Sales and Use Taxes
  • Month End responsibilities:
    • Provide A/P & A/R Reports
    • Adjusting Entries
    • Balance Intercompany Expenses
    • Payroll Entries
    • Depreciation
    • COGS
    • Other Monthly Analysis (Agency & Ecomm)
    • Create Licensee invoices & follow up with SOA
  • Manage AR/AP employee
  • Other accounting duties as requested.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Ability to communicate in English and French.
  • DEC or ACS in Accounting or equivalent
  • At ease with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in an environment using SAGE - asset.
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Autonomy and thoroughness
  • Strong organizational skills, with a capacity to manage deadlines and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
