Description:

WHO YOU ARE:

The Conscious Leadership Communications Intern will be work closely with the Chief Leadership/Mindfulness Officer to develop materials on conscious leadership topics that educate, inspire and empower the leadership teams at both Head Office and Stores. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the conscious leadership development strategy by creating monthly communications themes that support all ongoing initatives and projects.
  • Research and brainstorm content on conscious leadership themes as directed by the CLMO.
  • Create communications material and write creative copy for various channels (blog posts, presentation decks, worksheets, audio and video recordngs, etc.) in keeping with the conscious leadership development program and tone of voice.  
  • Create a library of 12-24 monthly communications and all related reading/resource material.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • A passion for the topic of conscious leadership or the interest and willingness to quickly learn about conscious leadership.
  • Strong communication skills in French and English.
  • Excellent English writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to various platforms.
  • Second or third year university studies in a related discipline (communications studies, scriptwriting, creative writing, etc) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong research skills: ability to conduct thorough research on conscious leadership topics and gather information and insights for content creation.
  • Creativity: ability to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to communication materials, as well as the ability to think creatively about how to present concepts in an accessible way.
  • Strong organizational skills and resourceful approach in finding solutions for the task at hand.
