Description:

WHO YOU ARE:

You are smart, energetic and team-oriented. Recognized for your organizational skills, you focus on results and own what you do every step of the way.

The Business Analyst’s main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a liaison between the business sector and the IT team and/or external suppliers to ensure that needs are well understood and deliverables meet expectations;
  • Managing day-to-day activities for the project team.
  • Identify, define, analyze and document business needs and rules with representatives from the business sector;
  • Understand the business context and the impact of changes on the organization's processes;
  • Document, model and map out the processes targeted by the changes;
  • Participate in the definition of the testing strategy and validate the user test plan in collaboration with clients;
  • Ensure all parts of an assigned project are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analytics and/or Project Management in Retail/Logistics;
  • As a Business Analyst, participated in several medium to large scale projects;
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more IT solutions related to omnichannel and logistics solutions;
  • Have an understanding of project methodology;
  • Have participated in major IT projects with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Have an ease in understanding and translating business needs at both the process and technical levels;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills;
  • Solid organizational skills, service-oriented, attention to detail, and quality-oriented;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
  • Ability to easily adapt to change;
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written);
